Course Overview
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a type of business self-regulation with the aim of social accountability, creating a responsible and sustainable organizational culture that benefits all stakeholders, and making a positive impact on society. Students will examine, through a CSR lens, how leadership and ethics shape organizational culture, guide decision-making, and determine the long-term success of individuals, teams, and organizations. Additionally, students will explore the structure of legal rules, allowing them to identify and manage risk and conduct business in a lawful and ethical manner. Students will have the opportunity to analyze, identify, and work through legal and ethical issues as they relate to business matters.
