Before You Submit
Align with Antioch’s Mission
We highly encourage event proposals that align with and complement Antioch University’s academic programs and mission. We prioritize offerings that reflect our institutional values of advancing social, racial, economic, and environmental justice, and that enhance the educational experiences of our students, alumni, and community partners. Proposals that build meaningful connections to Antioch’s areas of study or serve our broader commitment to equity and social action are especially encouraged.
Planning Timeline
Continuing Education events are typically planned 6 months to 1 year in advance. This timeline allows us to ensure each offering receives the careful attention it deserves — from coordinating presenters and securing approvals to providing adequate time for marketing, registration, and administrative support. While we occasionally make special exceptions for timely or high-demand topics, most events follow this advanced planning cycle to maintain our commitment to high-quality, well-organized professional development experiences.
After You Submit
We welcome proposals from individuals interested in hosting an event or workshop with Continuing Education. If you have expertise to share and a topic that supports Antioch University’s mission and programming, we invite you to submit your proposal for consideration. Please note that due to the volume of submissions we receive, we are unable to respond to every inquiry. Our team will contact you directly if your proposal aligns with current programming needs and we wish to explore it further.
