Course Overview
In the early educational years, young children flourish in settings that encourage their development of a strong sense of self. Connecting with peers and caring adults as they engage in open-ended play-based learning opportunities sets the stage for positive experiences throughout schooling. In this course, participants will establish an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices in order to design a play-based curriculum that attends to the unique needs of young children’s academic, physical, social, and emotional development.
Course Materials: Students should contact the course instructor and review the course syllabus for information related to course materials/texts.
